Workinn is known as one of the best housing providers for migrant workers in the Netherlands. In the cozy town of Waalwijk, under the smoke of the Waal, Workinn hosts several branches where international employees from all over Europe have found a place to live. And they do so with Dutch hospitality as we know it: in accommodations equipped with extensive internet and channel packages.
Taking on a task no one could complete
If there is one party in the Netherlands known as a responsible housing provider for migrant workers, it is Workinn from Waalwijk.
This company provides housing for hundreds of foreign workers. Workinn’s reputation is exceptionally good: municipal councilors, members of the House of Representatives, and interest groups regularly visit the housing providers in Waalwijk. Together with real estate developer Roozen van Hoppe, Workinn provides high-quality housing. Hertzinger has had a fixed collaboration with Workinn since 2021.
Workinn approached us with the request to provide the entire building with internet and television. Director Rob Massuger had a few demands. “I was quite critical during our initial meeting,” he recalls. “We had many problems with television and internet in the past. There were constant malfunctions. Most parties said they could solve it, but from experience, we knew it wasn’t that simple. Providing a building with hundreds of rooms with stable internet and a wide range of television channels is not easy,” Massuger explains.
“I asked Hertzinger if I could first visit two of their ongoing projects. Just to see with my own eyes what they do. I did that, and it gave me a lot of confidence. In the end, we decided to entrust the entire project to them.”
A dedicated WiFi network and TV in every room
The Workinn building provides 450 accommodations for migrant workers from all over Europe. Hertzinger delivered a complete fiber optic network and provided each accommodation with its own WiFi network.
We also put together a wide channel package for Workinn and equipped every room with a TV screen. “We notice that the residents really appreciate this. Many of them come from Poland, Hungary, and Spain,” Massuger says. “The television offering includes channels they receive at home, which is very well-received. Apparently, this contributes to our good reputation. We often get asked by people from abroad: What do I need to do to live with you?”
Satisfaction and trust
“We are extremely satisfied with Hertzinger,” concludes Massuger. “Whenever we need them, we immediately get in touch with the right employee. We had a brief malfunction at the beginning, but they resolved it right away. That was two years ago, and we haven’t had any problems since. The fact that Hertzinger offers a complete solution and always acts adequately gives a lot of confidence.”
